What is the Key to Mediation?

Communication Collaboration
Resolution

My Practice

My practice focuses on workplace disputes, divorce mediations, family feuds and restorative justice healing.  When it comes to conflict, whether at work, home, or the community, mediation saves time, money, and most importantly, stress. My role as mediator is to serve as a neutral guide to help the parties come to their own resolutions and put peace on the table.

Mediation is a confidential process, and while most issues can be worked through in a day, Gather Mediation will stay with you throughout the entire process.  While based in Vermont, Gather Mediation can assist throughout all of New England.

“Conflict is inevitable but combat is optional.”

My Services

  • Workplace Disputes

Workplace disputes are costly and often pull focus away from an organization’s mission, vision, and values. Gather Mediation can partner with the parties to untangle such issues as harassment claims, EEOC charges, hostile work environment conflicts, guidance on “parting ways” and proactively provide training at all levels to create and maintain a healthy workplace culture.

  • Divorce & Separation

Gather Mediation takes intimidating court proceedings and expensive attorney fees off the table to allow everyone to discuss outcomes when it comes to asset division, alimony and spousal support, division of debt and provides local expertise and resources for real estate questions.

  • Family

Gather Mediation helps to facilitate discussions on parenting plans, equitable custody conversations and guides parties through child support logistics and legalities.

  • Understanding

As a Board member in the Town of Williston’s Restorative Justice program, Gather Mediation focuses on the paradigm shift from seeing crime as a violation of the law to understanding crime as harm that requires individual, interpersonal, community, and system-wide accountability and healing.
