Hi, I’m Lisa
Lisa is an innovative HR and Mediation professional that assists her clients with such endeavors as conflict management, leadership effectiveness, hiring for your company’s culture, change management, enhancing the employee experience, retention & diversity efforts, and positioning healthy, sustainable growth.
Lisa and her husband both grew up in Minnesota and moved to Arizona in 1995, chasing the sun and a west coast lifestyle. It was a fantastic adventure, but after 26 years in 100-plus degree weather, coupled with their daughter’s departure to college, they decided to relocate somewhere with seasons again (especially Fall); one that offered a vital arts and restaurant scene and had a reputation for fabulous people--the perfect combination was Vermont!
Academically speaking, Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree with a double major in Communications and Ethics and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management. Lisa has been blessed to work in several industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, and television. Lisa recently launched a mediation and conflict resolution practice called Gather Mediation, which focuses on workplace disputes, family & divorce discord, and minimizing incarceration through restorative justice. She practices throughout New England.
Since arriving in Vermont, Lisa has joined the Boards of Directors for the Town of Williston, the Vermont SHRM chapter and the Governor’s Council on employment of those with disabilities. In her spare time, she is gaining her “snow legs” with outdoor activities, discovering her new surroundings and loves spending time with friends and family.
